LOARRE - ANIES - BOLEA
We start the excursion visiting the gothic church
of Loarre with baroque wall paintings very interesting.
We get on the route visiting the Castle of Loarre,
one of the most important romanie castle in Europe
and perhaps the oldiest and best preserved inthat
architectural style.
A monastery was built inside the castle in 1071
and some rooms wre added to it, for example the
royal chapel and the church of Saint Peter. The
wall was built at the end of the XIII Century. It
is composed of 10 round towers and 2 gates. Other
elements are the remains of necropolis, a cistern
and the dungeons.
We follow the direction to Anies to visit the sanctuary
the Lady of the Rock.
We finish the route at Bolea visiting the collegiate-church
Santa Maria la Mayor. The Main Altarpiece stands
out inside.

AYERBE - RIGLOS - AGÜERO
- MURILLO DE GALLEGO - SAN JUAN DE LA PEÑA
Ayerbe stands out for its houses of the XVI Century,
its galleries of archs, made with bricks, are like
an Aragones identity, such as Tower of Saint Peter,Tower
of the Clock, Palace of Marquises Urries, Hermitage
of Saint Michel and the Museun about the illustrious
Nobel MD Ramon y Cajal, linked to the village.
In Riglos, situated at the foot of ist striking
Mallos, we can visit the church of the XVI Century;
valuable romanic carvings are kept inside.
In Agüero, the most important monument is the
Church of San Salvador, it has an interesting main
front, composed of 4 decorated arcades and a big
pantocrate.
Outskirts of the village is the church of Saint
James, with a beautiful main front.
In Murillo de Gallego you can visit the church,
half and half temple and watchtower. Hermitage Virgen
de la Sierra and the churchVirgen de la Liena.
We will finish the route at SanJuandela Peña,
in which Monastery, Kingdom of Aragon was born.
It is excavated in the pure rock and was founded
by the Benedictine Monks in the IX Century. There
is a mozaravic church with romanic remains, the
councils room, the pantheon of the noblemen, the
high church with an aisle ended in two apses.

BIEL

In Biel we can behold its castle, noble and popular
houses, church of San Martin, Hermitages Santa Quiteria,
Virgen de la Sierra and San Miguel de Eliso.
The Castle of Luesia ( ruins ) stands out in Uncastillo,
palaces, country houses, Jewish quarter, church
El Salvador and also the city hall (XVI c)
In Sadaba are located the Castle of the Crown, Church
Sta. Maria, grave of the Atilios, sysagogne ( mausoleum
) and the monastery Virgen del Cambron.
We get on the route in Sos del Rey Catolico visiting
the church San Juan Bautista, the renaissance palace
of Sada, City Hall, church of San Esteban XII C.
(Romanic paintings ), castle and the crypt.
In Ejea we can see the church, fortress El Salvador,
historic area of the village and the church Sta.
Maria de la Corona.
We finish the route in Erla with the Church Sta.Maria
la Mayor, Torre del Señorio, Hermitage Virgen
de la Corona.
